Who We Are

Rooted in Legacy, Focused on Community

Skaggs Foundation was established in 2002 as the primary funding source for Skaggs Regional Medical Center. When the hospital merged with CoxHealth in 2013, the Foundation’s Board of Directors chose to retain the Skaggs name—preserving a legacy of philanthropy that began with the founding of the area’s first hospital in 1950.

Investing in Health and Wellness

Thanks to the continued generosity of our community, Skaggs Foundation remains committed to improving the health and wellness of residents in Stone and Taney counties. We fund patient care programs, support improvement projects at the Branson hospital, provide scholarships to local students, and impact thousands of lives annually through our community grantmaking initiative, the Skaggs Legacy Endowment.

Looking Ahead

As an independent nonprofit, Skaggs Foundation strives to be a catalyst for meaningful change. We envision a thriving, united community where every individual has access to the resources they need to live a healthier, more fulfilling life. By fostering collaboration, embracing innovation, and investing in impactful solutions, we are building a stronger future for generations to come.
